For no other reason than it seemed pointless and boring, I never tried to formulate and make a list of my favorite ZZ Top albums, from favorite to "least favorite". But what the hell, it's my blog.

Over time "Antenna" has moved up several notches and XXX and El Loco have moved down. Other than that and the new entry of "La Futura", the order has roughly been the same for years.

1) Fandango (Studio side) Not even 1 marginal song. All are perfect.

3)Rio Grande Mud - Raw and smooth at the same time
4)Tres Hombres - 1st 2 tracks are staples of the ZZ sound.
5)Rhythmeen - Tone is remarkable throughout the album
6)Eliminator - brought the band to the masses
7)Tejas - contains their most underrated song "She's a Heartbreaker"
8)Antenna - Loved the tour
9)La Futura - Will move up my list soon
10)El Loco - My wife's album because of"Leila"
11)Recycler- Tone is killer on this album as well
12Afterburner- Came out my senior yr in college. Ah the memories.
13)Deguello- Dust My Broom is best song by far
14Mescalero - No comment
15) XXX - no comment
